The place was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was amazing and security guards were very friendly and helped us whenever we had questions. Best stay in DR and I highly recommend it.

Costa Hermosa, Is a beautifully designed condo complex, I would recommend it, However, the location is not the greatest, the distance to the beach and or small restaurants (my fav is Citrice and Dalia) is 7-9 min, walking distance, which is fine, but the streets are loud, dirty and can be smelly and the beach location is not the best. I would recommend renting a car and discovering other beaches.
You can save a lot of money by grocery shopping at Jumbo or Super Paola, but it is a 20 min. car ride from the condo complex. The Pool is fantastic. But please if you go, follow the pool rules, this complex is privately owed and renters should treat it like there home so that everyone can enjoy there stay.
I would also recommend to the owners that they should carry staple items like salt, and pepper, sugar, coffee filters... as it is inconvenient for renters to have to purchase these bulk items each time and only use a minimum amount... what happens to them once the renters are gone. Does the cleaning crew take them?
Over all we enjoyed our 3 week stay, and would come again but during low season as some renters may be disrespectful. The internet was amazingly fast, this unit does not have a desk area. I work for my self so my work comes with me every where I go, But I made it work. The 2 king size beds are extremely comfortable, the pillows not so much. The kitchen is well equipped but I would change some of the pans as the t-fal is wearing off. The water pressure is great and the space is very large and very comfortable, the living room TV is great. overall the unit had a home feel to it and we did not need to use the AC often saving us more money than the 20us per day.
There are a few owners with yappy dogs, but you get use to it and at night it is very quit.

As the pictures show the property is amazing. We stayed here for 2 weeks, we never had to request anything. The unit is stocked with everything for your cooking enjoyment. Truly only a 5 minute walk to the beach and at night enjoyably quiet. Security was great and friendly as was all of the staff here.

The only issue we had was some noise related to concrete maintenance work at the complex during our stay. The property was meticulously maintained inside and out. Security guards did not speak English, so couldn't help with questions, but Property Manager was easily contacted for that. Beautiful place, and the owner seems to take a great deal of pride in keeping it that way. We also stayed at a second property, but thought this one was nicer, even though not as close to the beach.

I am glad we chose the particular vacation rental the unit was nicely decorated, the property looks better than on pictures my only compliant would be the gym - it is extremely small. I would recommend this property to others.

This is a truly outstanding property. The grounds are beautifully maintained and safe. It looked better than the pictures. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable and had all of the items that we needed. The staff at Go Punta Cana Real Estate could not have been better. Due to the northeast blizzard, we needed to extend our stay an additional six days and they were very helpful in accommodating us. They also helped with phone calls to our rental car agency to get that extended. Special thanks to Anny at Go Punta Cana. This turned out to be a great vacation and I will recommend Costa Hermosa to anyone who is looking for a great rental.

We just love this place. It is perfect for those people who want to enjoy real peace and harmony. Talking about the apartment itself, it is well equipped and decorated with taste! We had an amazing week at Costa Hermosa and in CH302. The condo was clean and spacious. It was well equipped for all our needs while we were there. The pool is super nice and never overly crowded. We enjoyed the bbq area one night to celebrate a birthday. We felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Punta Cana!

We rented this apartment for four weeks Jan/Feb 2020. The property was well appointed. We had all the amenities we required to cook and entertain guests that visited during our stay. We called the property manager about a couple of things that needed attention. Someone was at the apartment within five minutes, so very good service.
The pool area was well kept. The pool is laid out so lane swimming is possible. The apartment is a few minute walk to the beach as you have to reach a street that isn't blocked by an all-inclusive. The area felt safe to walk around in at night.

The pictures do not do justice to this property. This place was beyond amazing ! Natural day light makes the house so bright and beautiful. The house was immaculate, we had everything we needed. The staff was very cordial and nice. The property is located within walking distance from nice restaurants , supermarket and the beach. My family and I enjoyed our stay there, and we absolutely recommend to our friends and anyone who is thinking of going to Punta Cana. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: We struggled a little using the lockbox at checkin but when we contacted the number on the reservation and someone at our door within 2 minutes to help us out. The rest was easy and we were quoted ~$220 for the electricity and we received ~$25 back at the end of the week.

THE PROPERTY: The property was well maintained inside and out and came equipped with basically anything you'd need throughout the week: towels, cooking, laundry, cleaning supplies, etc. The complex was quiet with friendly staff and helpful security. The pool was rarely busy and has several areas that were only knee deep which was great because we had 2 young kids with us that could play a little more freely than they would have been able to at other hotel pools. The 2 down-sides to the condo was that many of the rooms didn't have dressers so I felt like we were living out of our suitcase the whole week. The elevator in our building was also out of commission for the first few days but once we mentioned it to the association president it was up and running (power needed to be reset) same or next day it was addressed. The unit was also very spacious that even though there were 7 of us staying together we never felt cramped or tight on space.

LOCATION: We booked our taxi service through our booking reservation and that was pretty easy. We used those taxi drivers several times throughout the week and even coordinated our return back to the airport with them.

The condo is ~7-10 minute walk to the downtown area that had shops, restaurants, grocery stores and maybe an extra 3-5 minute walk to get to the beach. The beach was clean and not too crowded. The streets that we walked on were dirty with trash dumped in bushes/side of the road, etc, but we never felt unsafe walking them.

RECOMMENDATION: I would stay here again without hesitation and would recommend it to others looking for a place to stay

The costa hermosa c302 unit is beautiful , very clean and spacious. I would defiantly recommend and go back again. The area isn’t the safest . If you need to walk around I would say in the daytime ok but at nite a lot of interesting people that are up to no good near by a few blocks away. Security at the actual
Costa hermosa are very friendly and polite. The actual unit C-302 is rented at a very reasonable price. The staff that manage the unit are awesome and very attentive and respond to your email very fast. My family had an awesome stay and that made me very happy.

Six of us stayed in Costa Hermosa unit C302 January 31 to February 14/18
It was spacious with very comfortable beds. Our adult children and grandchildren had the 3rd floor ( 2 beds, 2 1/2 baths, living, dining, kitchen etc) we had the top floor with 1 bed, 1 bath, small living, dining and kitchen. The grounds and pool were beautiful, very well looked after by Wilson and his associates. We were about a ten minute walk to the beautiful beach, shopping and restaurants. We worried about finding beach chairs but at the access to the beach that we were directed to is a restaurant with an Italian name, there we found chairs that we could use in return for a small purchase ( Presidente @ 150 pesos) Another place we found is Hurican, to the West.....200 for the beer. Other restaurants we enjoyed were Citrus ( the Mahi-mahi was lovely, as were their hamburgers) Pastrata was great Mexican food, Balicana good Asian food. Although the food at Pranama (Indian)was excellent, it was very expensive for smallish portions, there are no included side dishes rice, bread etc has to be ordered separately. Our kids fell in love with the little French bakery near the Bam market.....great food,coffee, portions, price and cheerful service. At the condo we had a few issues ( the shower head was broken, no hot water in the upstairs area etc) but the Go Punta Cana Real Estate girls addressed everything as quickly as possible. The breakfast bar in this unit could be a safety hazard, it is heavy and unglued on one side.....we pointed this out on our leaving and hope that it will be addressed for future guests. Biggest let down, the elevator was broken, has been for a long time according to a reliable source. No matter who is responsible, owner, condo should be revealed to prospective renters. We were fine, but anyone with mobility issues would not be! Out of $420US deposit for electricity we got back $295....didnt run air too much.
Overall, would go back tomorrow

The check-in and out processes were fast and smooth. We had 2 families of 8 staying there and found it very spacious and luxurious in the condo. We were provided 10 full sized beach towels. The amenities were great. The fully-equipped kitchen was absolutely wonderful. Overall the condo unit and grounds are 5 stars.

The staff was extremely helpful especially Anny was prompt and supportive with customer service. The beach is about 10 minute walk in a safe neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. If there are any issues, they address them very quickly. I'd gladly stay here again.

Stayed 7 weeks in this unit. Jan-Feb 2019. The unit was very clean & as advertised.The office responded immediately to any issues we had. It is 10 min. to the beach and there are 2 small grocery stores within walking distance 15 minutes. The bus is easy to use, 40 pesos per person and takes you to large shopping. We always felt very safe, guards 24 hours, no issues. You can get to restaurants and shopping and beach without a car. The unit was reasonably equipped. I would comment you will find nothing left there. You are supplied with a roll of toilet paper & small soap on each bathroom, bottle of water, kitchen cloth & bottle of dish soap. Nothing else so be prepared. Weather beautiful, 81 daily. My only dissapointment is the tax. 18% on groceries, 18% + 10% or 28% add on at all restaurants! Tips included. And the groceries and restaurants were more expensive than other vacation areas like Mexico. Liquor was very expensive. The electric deposit scared me but we used far less and got an immediate refund. The 2 pools were well maintained but COLD, the grounds are beautiful and well kept.

You have to walk approx 15 minutes to get to beach and area is not the best and wifi was not good. Good location, good restaurants close and market close.

We were a party of 6. 2 Grandparents, 2 parents and 2 kids (7 & 5yrs old). We had a great time. The kids did not mind making the 1/4 miles walk to the beach each morning and loved spending the afternoons swimming in 1 of the 2 large pools. The condo was really nice and had a good range of equipment for meal prep. The staff was very attentive and responded very quickly when we had questions. They made the experience stress free and enjoyable, I can't say enough about them. We ended up only paying a total of $33 for 6 nights of electricity (ran the A/C at night only). Local super markets are nice and close but if you want cheaper prices and more selection take a trip to San Juan Plaza. Get a taste of the local culture by taking a "bus" along the main drag.
The only negative I have is that there were only 4 dinning chairs. We made due by dragging a couple of the chair from the balcony in.

Are you kidding me? I think we had about 3,600 sq feet place, three bedrooms, three belconies, enough room to sleep all 6 people with ease. Great Wifi. Two amazing pools. A short 10 min walk to the beach, beautiful weather. All fur under $100 USD a night! They collected a electricity deposit and we are AC hogs so I was expecting to pay more. I got half of it back. If you stay at this place you MUST try the Mexican restaraunt on the corner. The tortilla soup was the best I have ever eaten including in Mexico. The only negative I have and I had to search hard is it can be a long walk up the stairs after a long day at the beach. BTW when you go to the beach turn left and walk down to the public restaraunts. As long as you spend some money you can sit all day long.

It was a beautiful apartment. Security was very helpful in assisting me get in contact with the rental company. The apartment is in a quiet area and close to the beach. You will feel like you are at home.

I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff. Anne from the property management company was accomodating and helpful throughout our stay. The security personnel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The apartment we stayed in was luxuriously furnished, and all ammenities and utilities were available as advertised and in pristine condition. The beach that is about 4 minutes walk from the property is beautiful and they have a restaurant right there on the sand. Overall, we all had a wonderful time and will book our next trip to Punta Cana through GoPuntaCana real estate again!

Bavaro, the area around the property, is very turisty and upscale. If you get a chance, walk/drive/ride around to get a more real feel of the Dominican Republic and its people/culture! Of course, exercise caution and common sense to avoid bad/dangerous experiences. The locals are extremely friendly. Also HIGHLY recommend the buggie rides through the beach (just ask around, there's plenty of tours. If they charge more than $100 per person they're ripping you off!) There is a very accessible grocery store nearby, but again, if you can drive out of Bavaro, you will find much better variety and prices. Check around, meet people, have fun!

Our rental experience was unbelievable. From the time of check in to check out the rental was everything and more we could have asked for. The rental was in wonderful condition. The grounds and pool are kept in excellent condition. The location is wonderful walking distance to everything. The staff at the rental always smiled and made you feel very welcome and safe. We are already looking forward to next years vacation. I would recommend this rental in a heart beat.

The location of this property is very good everything is within walking distance. If you need larger amounts of groceries then a bus is 1/2 block away that will take you to San Juan Shopping Center or Palma Real Shopping Village both have a Larger Grocery store.
2 great restaurants within a block Pastrata and Fresco.
The grounds of the condo complex were very clean and the security attendants are very watchful. The condo itself was modern and clean.
Keep in mind that there is no elevator and this condo G5 is on the 3rd floor.
All in All a very nice complex, safe clean, and modern.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Be aware though, unless you rent a 1st floor unit, there are many steps to climb. They repaired kitchen sink immediately when it leaked. Good service. Weather is wonderful, restaurants are great, tours are great, and we had a wonderful fishing trip with Blue Sky. Caught a white marlin and 7 Mahi Mahi. Had a wonderful fish supper! Would go there again!

This was my second stay in this condo. the property management staff was just awesome to work with from the beginning to the end. The condo is a great location to walk to stores, beaches and restaurants. The condo was clean from top to bottom. The only reason i'm giving this a 4 and not a 5 because the bed located in the top level kept falling off it's frame. Other than that the condo and stay in Punta Cana was AWESOME!!!!!

If not for the water going out twice during our stay I would have giving it 5s for everything. We had a great time with the Condo and our visit to Punta Cana. Location close to bars, grocery market and restaurants.. Neighbors and staff were friendly and helpful during our stay.. Look forward to staying here again. We opted to rent a condo versus paying big money for an all-inclusive resort, and we're so glad we did! Five of us ladies stayed in this 3-bed condo and it was great. Carla, Anny and Blanka were all very responsive and friendly, and the entire process was easy. We rented a car so that we could drive to excursions, get groceries etc and it worked out very well, although the beach is only a five minute walk. The unit was clean, quiet, modern. We only had to call for help once - we couldn't figure out how to get the stove to work - and the maintenance guy was there within five minutes to help us.
Recommendations:
- renting a condo is a much better value for the size and amount of bedrooms you get at a hotel
- Happy Dive (check out TripAdvisor) was the company we used for a snorkeling trip to Catalina island and they are amazing
- Hard Rock Casino is only a fifteen minute drive and is great for gambling/televised games
- Our favorite grocery store was Super Lama at Palma Real - while Iberia was less expensive, the street to get there was tough to navigate
- Driving a car there is doable, but you have to pay A LOT of attention and be very careful, as mopeds will jump in front of you, and stop signs are rarely observed
- Nearby restaurants we recommend: Pastrata and Soles

The unit at Estrella Del Mar was great. The furniture and decor were very classy. There was plenty of space for the four adults and three children that we had there during our stay. Things that we loved about the condo: Great swimming pools, friendly people in the complex (mostly Americans/English speakers), lots of outdoor space on three decks, great location within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and market.

Things we didn't like: the beds were REALLY firm (I ended up sleeping on the couch a couple of nights because my back was too sore--which is the only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars), the "beach towels" were really just bath towels, they provided very minimal supplies (minimal toilet paper, 1 liter of water, no laundry detergent).

Overall, I would highly recommend this unit--especially if you like firm mattresses. It's a really nice place in a great location. We were very happy we chose to stay in a condo rather than an all-inclusive. We liked the flexibility to eat our own food, and try different restaurants. We LOVED Ristarante Pastrata which was just at the end of the street. Seriously. That food was GOOD! We also drove about 15 minutes up to Playa Macao, which was a not-so-crowded public beach away from all the all-inclusives. It was beautiful and mostly deserted.

The management company was very helpful, providing last-minute late check-in, and letting us check out at noon with no extra cost. They also came immediately when we called about an issue with the A/C. They took a $30/night deposit for electricity when we checked in. We set the thermastat at 80 degrees, and only paid $20 total for all four nights we were there.

We were very happy with our stay. If I was going back to Punta Cana, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
